Things to do in St Pete 10/28-10/30

Halloween is here! Time for tricks, treats, costumes and… seafood? That’s right! This weekend is packed full of good eats and family fun. We don’t want you to miss any of these things to do in St Pete this weekend.

St. John’s Seafood Festival

The the 35th year, St John’s Pass will be holding it’s annual seafood fest in on the boardwalk in Madeira Beach. Along with 100 (yes, you read that right) seafood options, there will be music, art and chef show-downs. We’ve heard rumors of their being a world record Bloody Mary toast and you definitely want to be a part of that, right? There are family friendly events including a kids costume contest on Saturday at 3pm. The festival starts at noon Thursday, October 27th and goes until Sunday, October 30th. Head over to their website for a full list of events.

Neighborhood Block Parties

Halloween is the kick-off to family friendly block parties all over the city. Some of our favorite dsc_0857neighborhoods are no exception, including Crescent Heights who is holding a Halloween bock party on Saturday, October 29th from 5-7pm. This neighborhood really gets into the Halloween spirit with almost every house hanging pumpkins from the trees in their yard. The Historic Old Northeast Neighborhood Association is holding their annual Halloween Porch Party on Friday, October 28th from 7:30-10:30pm. Wear your costume and be a part of the community’s spooky event.

Fall Festival Family Fun Day

Sundial St. Pete is hosting a family-friendly Fall Festival on Sunday, October 30th from 12-3pm. The event is going to be held at the Sundial plaza. Families can enjoy a magic show, face painting, and trick-or-treating (of course). The Nomad Art Bus will also be in attendance. This event is free to the public and costumes are encouraged.
